Beautiful peaceful river. Good fishing. Nice place for children.
I was unfamiliar with the area, and driving in the general direction looking for a place to view the solar eclipse after our original plans fell through. It was super easy to find by following the signs, not very crowded and there are many secluded areas and communal areas that are all easily accessible by car.

Nice roadside Park and picnic area. Historically, Jesse James and gang jumped and robbed a train from the cliffs here by the track.
The scenery is breathtaking, you can walk in the woods in most areas, there is a river... a lot of stuff to do. I had a blast, and we will definitely be coming back to explore more!
